Dr Eleni

Dr Eleni graduated as a Dentist from Trinity College Dublin with a BA BDentSc. She was awarded an Entrance Exhibition Award upon commencing her studies and went on to achieve a First Class Honours. Throughout her dentistry training, Dr Eleni developed a strong commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based dentistry centred around each patient’s individual needs.

Dr Eleni particularly enjoys treating children and strives to create a positive, welcoming environment where they feel comfortable and confident. Building trusting, long-term relationships with her patients is one of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry for Dr Eleni. She believes that good communication and a compassionate approach are essential in helping dental patients to feel at ease and achieve lifelong oral health.

Dr Eleni is passionate about continually developing her knowledge and skills to ensure that she provides the highest standard of care using the latest evidence-based techniques and treatments.

Dr Ian Wong

Dr. Ian Wong was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, having studied Psychology at McMaster University in Canada prior to attending Semmelweis University, Budapest where he completed his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry.

During his last two years at Semmelweis University, he had the special opportunity to represent the student body for the English programs including Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy giving him a breadth of experience and insight coordinating and leading a team of 30+ future doctors, dentists, pharmacists.

Eager to continue learning and improving his skillset and knowledge, he is in the second year of his Masters of Endodontics program at Chester University in Liverpool where he is learning from some of the best in the field when it comes to Root Canal Treatment.

Dr. Ian is both friendly and knowledgeable to help put you at ease and give you the best dental treatment experience. Being a strong advocate for great oral hygiene and prevention, Dr. Ian encourages patients to adopt healthy lifestyles that are in alignment with a healthy smile.

When not in the clinic, Ian enjoys workouts, hiking, basketball, and travelling throughout Europe.

Dr Yuliia Hluvynska

Dr. Yuliia Hluvynska is a General Dentist originally from Ukraine. She graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Throughout her career, Dr. Yuliia has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to providing excellent patient care and ensuring optimal oral health outcomes. Nothing motivates Dr. Yuliia more than seeing delighted, satisfied smiles on her patients’ faces. She is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, including teeth bonding and restorations. Her specialty areas include conservative and preventative dentistry.

Dr. Yuliia builds trust with her patients through kindness and is dedicated to delivering the best and most up-to-date care. She stays at the cutting edge of advanced techniques and materials by continuously advancing her knowledge through the latest courses and developments in the field.

Outside of dentistry, Yuliia is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new destinations, hiking, and painting.

Dr Vennisa Umeh

Dr. Vennisa Umeh  BA B.Dent Sc,  is a graduate from Trinity College Dublin awarded with an Honours Degree in Dentistry.

She is a dedicated and compassionate dentist with a deep enthusiasm for all areas of dentistry.

Dr. Vennisa is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and skills to provide the highest quality care for her patients.

Understanding the importance of a trustworthy and caring environment.  Dr. Vennisa believes that creating a serene and comfortable atmosphere is essential for all patients. She strives to ensure that every visit is a positive experience where both dentist and patient work together to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Dr. Vennisa Umeh is excited to bring her passion, knowledge, and dedication to our dental clinic, where she looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them achieve their best smiles.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Vennisa enjoys traveling, staying fit through regular exercise, and indulging her interests in fashion and beauty. She is also a reader, always looking to expand her horizons and stay informed about the latest trends and developments in dentistry and beyond.

Dr. Viktoriia Kanakina

Dr. Viktoriia Kanakina is a General Dentist registered with the Irish Dental Council. She is a member of the Irish Dental Association and is dedicated to continuous professional development and evidence-based best dental practice. To stay up to date with the latest advances in dentistry, she regularly attends international conferences, clinical courses and hands-on workshops.

Her pain-free approach is based on conservative dentistry and the prevention of dental disease for nervous dental patients. Dr Viktoriia prioritises high-quality dental care for patients at all stages of their life from paediatric dentistry to the replacement of missing adult teeth. Dr. Viktoriia is dedicated to helping nervous dental patients preserve their natural teeth and restore gaps where teeth are missing. She is passionate about the provision of emergency dental care for patients who have sustained dental trauma and dental sporting injuries due to accidents.  

Dr. Shane Keating

Dr. Shane Keating is originally from Tipperary and is passionate about all aspects of general dentistry. A UCC graduate Shane finished top of his class and received multiple prestigious awards in recognition of his academic excellence, including honours from the Irish Dental Council, the Irish Dental Association, the British Society for Restorative Dentistry, and the National University of Ireland. He continues to contribute to the profession beyond clinical practice and currently serves as a representative for young dentists with the Irish Dental Association.

Shane takes pride in building trusting relationships with his patients, especially those who feel nervous about dental visits, ensuring they feel supported and comfortable throughout their care. He believes that visiting the dentist should be a welcoming and positive experience, empowering patients to feel more confident about their oral health.

Outside the practice, Shane enjoys staying active by playing hurling and regularly going to the gym. He also enjoys skiing, a good tv show and spending time with friends and family.

Dr Erin O’Hagan

Dr Erin O’Hagan B.A., B.Dent.Sc.(Hons) graduated from Trinity College Dublin, where she was awarded the Trinity College Dublin Entrance Exhibition Award. She is originally from County Tyrone and is a member of the Irish Dental Association and the Irish Society for Disability and Oral Health.

Dr O’Hagan is passionate about delivering high-quality dental care and is committed to ongoing education. She understands the importance of addressing patients’ concerns and creates a calm, supportive environment for all. She has provided voluntary dental care in Arusha, Tanzania through the DOVE (Dental Overseas Voluntary Elective) programme.

In her spare time, she enjoys running, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Aoife Nolan

Dr Aoife Nolan, originally from Wexford, graduated with an Honours Degree in Dentistry from University College Cork. She is a member of the Irish Dental Association and is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred dental care.
During her time at UCC, Aoife received numerous academic and clinical awards, including an Entrance Scholarship, the Quercus Academic Excellence Award, Academic Excellence in Clinical Medical Science, the Sustained Excellence in Oral Surgery Award, and the Dr Noel Hayes Award in Oral Surgery.

Aoife provides both general and emergency dental care and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She is committed to continuing her professional development to ensure her patients benefit from the latest techniques and the highest standard of care.

Aoife has a gentle, calm and friendly approach and is especially passionate about helping nervous or anxious patients feel relaxed and comfortable. She believes that visiting the dentist shouldn’t feel intimidating and strives to create a positive, welcoming experience where every patient feels listened to, informed and confident in their treatment. Her caring nature and reassuring manner help patients of all ages feel at ease from the moment they walk through the door.

Outside of dentistry, Aoife enjoys running, walking her dogs, travelling, playing the guitar and baking.

Dr Ibrahim Elmasri

Dr. Ibrahim Elmasri is a general dentist committed to high-quality, evidence-based care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) and Master of Science (MSc) from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, graduating second in his class.

Dr. Elmasri provides general and emergency dental care, including root canal therapy, pain-free extractions, and restorative treatments. Dedicated to effective emergency dentistry, he also has experience in paediatric dental care, striving to help children develop positive dental habits by creating stress-free experiences at the dentist.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Elmasri has led studies in clinical research, and he has special interest in minimally invasive treatments such as ICON resin infiltration and silver diamine fluoride (SDF) for pediatric patients.

Actively engaged in professional development, he regularly attends international dental conferences and aspires to specialise in orthodontics.

 Dr Hengjia Zhang

BDS (Hons), DClinDent (Periodontics), F(Perio) RCSEd, MFD(RCSI), MGDS (RCSI), MSc (Oxford), PGDip Rest Dent (Edinburgh).

Specialist Periodontist

Dr Zhang is a fully qualified specialist periodontist practising in Ireland and the UK. Dr. Zhang is appointed as a dental fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh which is the most prestigious specialty qualification reflecting advanced knowledge and competence in specialist periodontal practice.  His practice is limited to periodontology, and he accepts both internal and external referrals.

Dr Zhang graduated with honours from University College Cork and received the JNH Dental Award at graduation. He subsequently completed postgraduate training in restorative dentistry at the University of Edinburgh. He also undertook research training at the University of Oxford, where he obtained an MSc degree.

Dr Zhang completed three years of specialist training in periodontics at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, leading to a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry with distinction from the University of Sheffield.

He holds the Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry and the advanced Membership in General Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

The treatments he provides include the complex management of periodontal disease, regenerative periodontal surgery, periodontal access surgery, treatment of gingival recession, gingival augmentation, functional and aesthetic crown-lengthening surgery, and the management of peri-implant mucositis and peri-implantitis.

Alongside his clinical practice, his research interests include periodontal and bone regeneration and the relationship between periodontal and neurological diseases.

Dr Maéve Watters

Dr. Maéve Watters, BA BDentSc, is a Trinity College Dublin graduate. Having received an Entrance Exhibition Award upon the commencement of her studies, she went on to achieve First Class Honours in her degree.
Dr. Maeve is passionate about all aspects of dentistry and aims to deliver exceptional care to all patients. She has a particular interest in paediatric dentistry and making the clinical environment as comfortable for young patients to ensure that they establish a familiar dental home.
Outside of work, Dr. Maéve is very active through GAA, going to the gym and running. She is also an avid musical theatre

Dr Hannah Elseisy

Dr. Hannah is a Limerick native. She graduated with an Honours degree in Dentistry from University College Cork.

Hannah is committed to providing a relaxed and comfortable environment for all of her patients. She is a general dentist with an interest in all aspects of dentistry, particularly dealing with nervous patients and children. Her passion is patient education, and she strives to make the dentist a fun place to attend, especially for kids.

Hannah regularly attends courses to keep up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry and to ensure the highest quality of care for her patients.

Dr Rachel Alexander

Dr. Rachel Alexander grew up in Co. Cavan and completed her Bachelor of Dental Science with honours at Trinity College Dublin. Dr. Rachel’s passion lies in providing high-quality dental treatment to people of all ages. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is a member of the Irish Dental Association ensuring she stays up to date with advancements in the field of dentistry. Dr. Rachel is known for her calm and friendly nature and she takes the time to put her patients at ease while they are in her chair.

In her spare time, Dr. Rachel loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking and sea swimming. She also enjoys reading in the evenings to unwind after a busy day.

Dr Andrea Uribarri

Dr. Andrea Uribarri BA, BdentSc (Alfonso X University, Madrid), MSc in Oral Surgery and Advanced Implantology, MSc in Dental Sciences (San Pablo CEU University, Madrid), MSc in Periodontology (Rey Juan Carlos University, Madrid), PG cert in Advanced Periodontics and Mucogingival Surgery (Rey Juan Carlos University, Madrid)

Dr Uribarri studied dentistry at Alfonso X University in Madrid, where she was awarded a scholarship and graduated in 2011. Following this, she completed a two-year Master’s degree in both Oral Surgery and Implantology and a Master’s degree in Dental Sciences in 2013.

She has spent most of her working time as a medical director while performing complex surgeries and oral rehabilitation. In 2020 she completed a three-year Master’s degree in Periodontology specialising in Mucogingival Surgery. She has limited her practice to dental implants, oral surgery, periodontics and prosthodontics, and she is continuously updating her knowledge and skills. She has also lectured and published articles on periodontics and dental implants.

Andrea decided to pursue implant dentistry because she wanted to help people living with discomfort whose self-esteem suffered because of the embarrassment of missing teeth.

She studied periodontics to help patients maintain their teeth with the most advanced periodontal treatments

Linda Phelan, Dip DH

With a background in cell and molecular biology, Linda graduated from the DDUH at Trinity College Dublin in 2012 where she received the Dentsply award for clinical excellence and the Colgate travel bursary award that allowed her to spend time studying in Sweden. Linda has experience working in hospital, specialist practice and general practice and is highly. Linda enjoys helping her patients achieve their best oral health. With a keen interest in CPD Linda joined the Irish Dental Hygienists’ Association committee in 2015 and worked as continuous education officer for 4 years. In 2019 she was selected as President-Elect of the IDHA and the associations secretary. Linda was IDHA President from 2020-2022. As the immediate past-president Linda now takes on a two-year term as Treasurer and also represents IDHA at the IFDH and EDHF.

Isabella Shortt

Isabella is passionate about dental care and helping patients feel comfortable when they come in for a visit.

After graduating with distinction in Dental Hygiene from Trinity College Dublin in 2021, she’s been dedicated to helping patients improve their oral health: addressing gum disease, reducing the risk of tooth decay, preventing bad breath. She wants you to feel confident and proud of your beautiful, healthy smile.

With her calm demeanour and gentle touch, Isabella has a knack for putting patients at ease — even the anxious, little ones! Her approach to patient care involves listening, empathising, and offering non-judgemental advice. She believes that positive change begins with empowerment.

Grateful to have first encountered dentistry through the Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP), Isabella enjoys giving oral health presentations pro bono to children of different ages.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys reading and staying active.

Abagail Byrne

Abagail is a registered dental hygienist dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin with distinction and was awarded an Entrance Exhibition Scholarship. She was also honoured with the IDHA Award for Best Thesis Defence, reflecting her commitment to advancing knowledge in dental hygiene.

Passionate about patient care, Abagail strives to create a positive and reassuring experience so that no one feels nervous about their visit. She provides gentle, thorough care in the prevention and treatment of gum disease, while focusing on education and practical advice that fits easily into everyday life.

Outside the clinic, Abagail enjoys health and fitness and competes in weightlifting competitions.

Stephanie

Stephanie graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2026 with a qualification in Dental Hygiene. Before pursuing her career in dental hygiene, she also studied Microbiology, giving her a strong interest in the science behind oral health and disease.

Stephanie is particularly interested in periodontal (gum) health and disease prevention, as well as helping patients improve the aesthetics of their smiles. She is passionate about providing gentle, thorough and personalised care, helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their appointments.

With a friendly and gentle approach, Stephanie aims to create a relaxed and positive experience for every patient while supporting them in achieving and maintaining a healthy, confident smile.
