Replace One Tooth or Several Teeth
Dental implants are revolutionary because they solve the age-old problem of missing teeth in a safe and predictable manner.
If left untreated, tooth loss caused by trauma, decay, or infection can be painful and ugly, make eating difficult, and result in bone loss.
It is best to replace lost teeth as soon as possible to minimise bone loss and gum recession, both of which can make dental treatments more difficult.
An implant is inserted by a dental expert. This treatment under local anaesthesia takes around one hour. In some instances, a temporary tooth or teeth may be inserted at this point.
Around 3 to 6 months are allotted for the implant to integrate with the bone and the gum to recover. The permanent crowns or cosmetic crowns are subsequently placed.
